;Membership in the Old Allentown Preservation Association is open to anyone both inside and outside of the Historic District. Annual dues are $25.00 for individuals, $40.00 for households, and $15.00 for senior citizens. Members receive the quarterly Old Town News newsletter and are able to attend all association-sponsored events. Members are also entitled to vote for board members and on other matters affecting the organization.
For more than 30 years, the strength and success of the Old Allentown Preservation Association (OAPA) organization can be attributed to a core of volunteers giving countless hours benefiting the Historic Allentown District.
Many historic Allentown district residents have become members of OAPA, the organization entrusted with enhancing a quality of life unique to the City of Allentown.
Annual membership contributions represent a willingness to support efforts that benefit the Historic Allentown District and create a “sense of community”. OAPA members experience fun social events throughout the entire year. These membership dues are the sole source of funding for all social events.
