OAPA reached out to the city after some residents expressed concern about tree removal and replanting taking place on Turner Street between 7th & 8th Streets.
The city was quick to respond that they are looking to enhance the area with new trees and pedestrian street lighting. They began on Turner street between 7th & 8th because of the incident that happened over the summer.
This year the city will be extending the Turner Street installation of pedestrian lights and trees up to 9th Street. They will keep us up to date and get our input.
